She has managed the operations and nutrition services at local schools and has been an active volunteer. As a parent with two children who attended and graduated from Hacienda La Puente Schools, Joyce has volunteered as a coach for district
swimming, basketball, and volleyball teams. Joyce Garcia is running for the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District Trustee Area 1 because she believes every child deserves the best possible education in a safe and supportive environment.
